Hi All, if you are shareholder of EVRAZ, you likely have received by now a "Terminanschreiben" from Consorsbank about transferring your share holdings to paper certificates. This document relates (and mostly echo) the information posted by EVRAZ on the 17th of July: https://www.evraz.com/en/news-and-media/press-releases-and-news/termination-of-the-registry-and-associated-services/ There is in the meantime a more detailed FAQ on the EVRAZ home page: https://www.evraz.com/en/share-certificates/ The Terminanschreiben from Consorsbank did not include any formular, nor advice how to proceed, if one chose to transfer his share to paper certificates. There is only a reference to a fee of 99,95Eur + "Fremdkosten" (one has to guess how high this will be). Having called today Consorsbank's customer service it seems they don't have a clear picture of how to handle this yet, and the first level of customer service has requested clarifications. From the above EVRAZ Q&A, it's clear in third Q&A item that the broker (here Consorsbank) is the entry point to kick off the request : https://www.evraz.com/en/share-certificates/#accordion-question-3 . This make sense to me as neither EVRAZ nor Computershare ("the registrar") is aware of our EVRAZ share holdings. There is a looming deadline of August 19th before which one has to ask for the transfer to paper certificate. Please note that other banks had requested an answer before the 12th!!! And it's a bit of pity to have received the notification from Consorsbank only today (at least if you received it today like me). Sounds to me as if Consorsbank got caught by surprise on that one. I had posted an enquiry on Monday the 8th to the Startrader support after having seen Evraz online info, but still no official answer on that ticket.... Happy to get your views/ideas if it's a good move to move to paper certificates, as for now Consorsbank was not able to provide much recommendation on the Pros-Cons. Cheers all! Tom
